What does
Suitable Respect stand for?
Quality with respect for the earth

Our Suitable Respect clothing line uses organic raw materials for its collections and utilizes natural dyes wherever possible. The designs are intentionally timeless to promote long-term wear. Our fabric workers work in sustainable factories under fair conditions. We continuously strive to improve the quality of our clothing through our working methods.

Where do
our fabrics come from?
Excellence cannot be rushed

Suitable actively resists the vagaries of "fast fashion" where clothes are made as quickly and cheaply as possible only to end up in landfills just as quickly. To minimize our impact on the environment, we select the best fabrics grown responsibly. Our process is set up for both efficiency and sustainability:

  • The fabrics for the suits come from Italy, and the assembly takes place in Hungary.
  • Many fabrics for our shirts also come from Italy, and assembly takes place in Turkey.
  • The yarns for the Suitable sweaters mostly come from Italy and China
  • The silk ties come from Italy and China
How are
your clothes made?
Fair work for fair clothing

Quality stands or falls with the right partners. So, we use sustainable materials that we have expertly processed in ateliers in India, Thailand, China, and Turkey. Founder and owner Raoul van Dun personally checks whether the factories meet our conditions:

  • No forced or child labor
  • A clean and safe working environment
  • Regular working hours
  • Legal employment contract
  • Premises are well maintained
