Jeans sizes are indicated in inches. The first number concerns the waist size, in this case 33 which equates to 83.8 cm. The measure of length is the second number, which in this case is 30. Converted into centimeters, this is 76.2 cm.
How do you measure yourself
Measure the circumference of your hips, waist and thighs with a measuring tape. It is important not to forget the length of your inner legs. Has all of this been measured? Then consult the size chart for the correct size. The circumference of your thigh is especially important when buying skinny-fit jeans or slim-fit jeans.
What are widths
You can recognize the width size by the first number of the size combination. With jeans that is 33/30. A width size is based on a waist size.
What are measures of length
This is easy to measure! Use a tape measure and measure from your crotch to where you want the trouser leg to sit. Consult a size chart to ultimately determine your trouser length.
